The 6th UNESCO ICDH Board of Directors Meeting

The 6th ICDH Board of Directors Meeting took place as a
hybrid meeting on 14th December 2022 to deliberate on the
following agenda items: Recruitment of the Secretary-General,
the Centre’s construction status, 2023 Centre programmes and
budget plan, amendments to the Regulation for the Operation
of Governing Board relating to annual closing accounts, 2022
annual performance report of UNESCO C2 Centres, and (re-)
appointment of executive committee members. All of these
were fully addressed and endorsed by the Board. The Board
applauded the efforts made by ICDH in 2022 and expressed
great interest in the the Centre’s construction in the second
half of 2023. Also, the Board actively shared their insightful
comments and feedback on the operation of the Centre
and implementation of future activities. The Board Meeting
will continue to serve as a momentum for driving forward in
terms of stabilisation of the Centre's programmes. The next
provisional Board Meeting will be taking place, by written
procedure, in March this year.
