                Located between Korea and China, Gageodo holds strategic significance. Since 1907, the
                Gageodo Lighthouse has marked Korea’s maritime territory and guided passing ships.
                Reaching the island takes over 4.5 hours by high-speed ferry, which has earned it the
                nickname “the island that goes on and on.” This remoteness has helped preserve its wild,
