Zero Hunger
Fruits and vegetables from foreign countries are not that hard to spot at
grocery stores, and when you check the origin of many manufactured food
resources, they are likely to be made in different nations. With developed
transportation and lively trade going on worldwide, it may seem as food
would be accessible everywhere.
It would be wonderful if that were the reality. Up to now, overcoming hunger
and starvation has been a social task for many generations. According to
the UN, the global population undergoing hunger and food insecurity has
gradually grown since 2014. With continuing people suffering from severe
hunger and vulnerable situations, eradicating hunger, malnutrition, and
achieving food security is a universal goal to gain.
The sustainable development goal is not limited to eradicating poverty
but also to strengthening food security by securing genetic diversity,
enhancing agricultural productivity, and preparing a safe and stable food
system.
Imagine the time when humanity is free from hunger and malnutrition.
What do you think would have happened and recorded as history?
