                                                                                                    In 1928, Kalman Tihanyi (1887-1947) submitted TV
                                                                                                    system patent applications in England and France.

                                                                                                    His patent was an important turning point in
                                                                                                    advancing the TV system, and his innovative invention
                                                                                                    led to new TV technologies and mass production.




                                                                                                    This set of archives, which includes the first TV
                                                                                                    design drafted by Kalman Tihanyi and patent-related
                                                                                                    documents submitted to Hungary in 1926 under

                                                                                                    the title “Radioskop,” is the only and most thorough
                                                                                                    collection of archives on TV patents.
