Affordable and
Clean Energy
Energy sources run the world we live in today. The light that brightens our
houses, life-support systems in hospitals, vessels transporting goods, and
satellite launchings that connect global communication are all possible
with the use of energy.
Fossil fuel is one of the most dominant energy forms. Many other types
of renewable, clean energy such as solar, hydroelectric, and wind power
are gradually implemented into our daily lives yet are still under constant
development. The use of fossil fuel energy accelerated technological
advancement and provided public access to energy sources, but on
the other hand, it is an influential factor for climate change and various
pollutions.
It is vital to facilitate affordable, clean energy, e.g., a sustainable economy,
developing the quality of life, and protecting the environment. Following
data from the United Nations, there was significant progress on clean fuel
energy access in population, low-income societies, and the consumption
increase of renewable energy.
There was progress, but the world still needs to work together in achieving
its SDG 7. The main objective is to provide universal access to clean fuels
and technology and upgrade energy-related infrastructure worldwide.
What type of renewable, clean energy would we be using soon, and
what energy economy will we meet at the end of the road? Have a go in
expressing your thoughts and what necessary actions are required from
us.
