in celebration of the 5th Island Day
:Exploring 57 Islands Across the Country
Sharing the Many Faces of
Korea’s Islands
The Youth Island Supporters kicked off their activities by ac-
tively promoting the 5th Island Day event held in Boryeong,
Chungcheongnam-do. They then traveled to various dest-
inations designated as “Islands You Want to Visit” by the
Korea Island Development Institute (KIDI) and the Ministry Seonyudo Island
of the Interior and Safety, highlighting the islands’ unique
charm from a youthful perspective. Over the course of their
journey, the supporters visited 57 islands and produced 96
Vol.03 on-site stories, capturing the beauty, culture, and local life
of each location.
Their vibrant island experiences were shared across social
media platforms, helping to spread awareness of the value
and allure of Korea’s islands.
