Islands of Korea, Islands of the World EBS Korea Travelogue – “Island Trails of Korea” Island Plus
Setting Foot on the Island Trails
Every island trail carries centuries of history etched
into its stones and soil. Along these paths, the wind
and waves breathe life into the scenery, and every rock
and tree holds the quiet stories of islanders. Walking
these trails offers more than just a beautiful view—it
allows one to encounter the essence of island time
and nature.
To showcase the cultural and ecological value of these
trails, the Korea Island Development Institute (KIDI)
partnered with the acclaimed EBS documentary
program Korea Travelogue to create the special series
“Island Trails of Korea.”
KIDI selected a number of distinctive trails across
various islands and produced a video series that
highlights each island’s natural beauty and stories.
